Vice Chairman of the Decision-Making China Think Tank Alliance, HongXiang Qiu is a disciple of Taoist Master Zhang of the Zhengyi Sect, with the Taoist name Luoxiang Qiu . He is a contemporary scholar of traditional Chinese culture and Vice President of the Special Committee for Intangible Cultural Heritage Transmission. Recognized as a figure in China’s Contemporary Intangible Cultural Heritage Talent Pool, he is an authentic successor of Chinese Tianxing Qimen Dunjia and Miaopai Feng Shui. Qiu is also the original creator of China’s Tianxing Four Pillars Bazi Studies and Tianxing Ziwei Doushu in the field of intangible cultural heritage. A modern-day scholar of Chinese classics and the I Ching, he currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Decision-Making China Think Tank Alliance and Honorary Chairman of the National Professional Talent Database. He is the Chief Consultant for the I Ching field in the Chinese Influence Database Celebrity Encyclopedia and the Chief I Ching and Feng Shui Expert for Celebrity Encyclopedia. Additionally, he is a Distinguished Professor at the Hong Kong Academy of Chinese Studies, Honorary President of the America Feng Shui Association, and Honorary President of the Bauhinia TV Cultural Studies Society.
Over the years, Qiu has traveled across major cities in China, as well as to countries in Europe, America, and Southeast Asia. His disciples are spread throughout mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and Western regions. He is dedicated to promoting Chinese traditional culture, and to the dissemination and study of the intangible cultural heritage of Chinese Tianxing Qimen Dunjia and Miao School Feng Shui. His work aims to contribute to the revival of Chinese traditional culture and the global reach of Yi studies. Qiu has frequently represented the contemporary Yi studies field at cultural forums held in various locations. In May 2019, he was invited to Houston, USA, for an academic exchange, where he received an award from the Pan-Asian American Chamber of Commerce, recognizing him with the ‘Outstanding Business Planning Consultant Award’.
